Continuing Sakar Mawji’s Legacy

This year, I am participating in the World Partnership Walk to honor my mother’s legacy and support the fight against global poverty. As Canada’s largest public movement dedicated to this cause, the walk raises funds to help communities create brighter, more sustainable futures.

Today, more than 700 million people around the world continue to live in extreme poverty, with many affected communities located across Africa and Asia. Funds raised will support Aga Khan Foundation Canada and its work to improve access to quality education and healthcare, strengthen food security, and help build resilient communities and local institutions.
