F45 Training Goldenmile

Toronto

Welcome to my fundraising page!

Every spring, thousands of Canadians from coast to coast lace up their sneakers to participate in the World Partnership Walk, Canada’s largest public movement dedicated to fighting global poverty.

With over 700 million people living on less than $2.15 a day, I’m raising funds that empower vulnerable communities and individuals break the cycle of poverty. Donating to my fundraise campaign will support transformative programs that improve access to quality education, essential health services, food security, and sustainable livelihoods worldwide.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. Every dollar raised makes a difference.

Breaking Barriers Of Underrepresented Brown Communities, One exercise at a time.

Saturday 9th May

In 2021, I walked into F45 Golden Mile for the very first time as a member simply looking for a place to work out. I had no idea that decision would completely change the trajectory of my life.

At first, it was just about fitness. Showing up consistently. Pushing myself. Challenging my limits. But very quickly, it became so much more than that. I found myself becoming the biggest supporter of the gym — never missing a day, building genuine friendships, and realizing that fitness had the power to transform people physically, mentally, and emotionally.

What made F45 different wasn’t just the workouts. It was the feeling.

The encouragement.
The energy.
The people.

Fast forward to 2023, and I became a personal trainer because I discovered how rewarding it was to help others become stronger versions of themselves. Watching someone walk into class feeling nervous or uncertain and slowly build confidence, discipline, and self-belief is one of the most fulfilling experiences imaginable.

Then in 2025, life came full circle.

I officially became the owner of F45 Golden Mile — the very gym that helped transform my own life.

Owning this gym has never just been about fitness for me. It has always been about creating impact.

Fitness today is often marketed as a shortcut or a quick fix for weight loss, but I believe fitness is so much bigger than that. It’s not a “hack.” It’s a lifestyle. It’s about longevity, mental resilience, confidence, energy, discipline, and showing up for yourself even on the difficult days.

Growing up, I also noticed something important: brown communities are often underrepresented in the fitness and wellness world. We rarely see ourselves reflected in mainstream fitness media, and over time, that creates invisible barriers — physical, mental, and psychological. When you don’t see people who look like you in these spaces, it can feel like those spaces were never built for you in the first place.

I wanted to challenge that narrative.

I wanted to become part of the change and say NO to those barriers.

I wanted people from all backgrounds — especially brown communities — to know that they belong in fitness spaces too. That health, strength, confidence, and wellness are for everyone.

Another reason I became so passionate about building F45 Golden Mile is because traditional gyms can often feel intimidating, especially for beginners. Mirrors everywhere. Little guidance. Equipment that feels confusing. People working out alone. For many people, stepping into a gym can feel overwhelming before the workout even begins.

That experience is completely different at F45 Golden Mile.

Nobody works out alone here.

Every 45-minute class is led by two personal trainers who guide members every step of the way, but what truly makes this place special is the community itself. The support doesn’t just come from the coaches — it comes from every single person in the room. Members encourage one another, celebrate one another, and grow together.

It’s not about competition.
It’s about connection.

That philosophy was heavily inspired by how I was raised within the Ismaili community and the values I learned growing up attending Jamatkhana. Being part of a strong, welcoming community taught me the importance of belonging, encouragement, and showing up for one another. I wanted to create a gym that felt the same way — a safe space where people feel seen, supported, and genuinely connected.

That is why supporting the World Partnership Walk Toronto feels so meaningful to me.

As a proud Ismaili, I’m proud to support initiatives that bring people together for a greater purpose, especially when they align with health, wellness, and community impact. The World Partnership Walk, organized in support of the Aga Khan Foundation Canada, is Canada’s largest movement dedicated to fighting global poverty and creating sustainable change around the world. Since 1985, millions of dollars have been raised to support healthcare, education, food security, economic development, and community empowerment initiatives across Africa and Asia.

To me, there’s a powerful connection between fitness and giving back.

Both are about improving lives.
Both are about building stronger communities.
Both are about creating a better future.

That’s why F45 Golden Mile is proud to support World Partnership Walk Toronto and everyone participating in this incredible cause.

And because community means everything to us, we wanted to give something back as well.

Anyone who donates to our World Partnership Walk fundraiser — even the smallest amount — will receive their first class at F45 Golden Mile completely on us.

Whether you’re beginning your fitness journey, looking for a supportive environment, or simply wanting to be part of a community that truly cares, we would love to welcome you.

Together, let’s move with purpose.
Let’s break barriers.
Let’s support one another.
And let’s create stronger bodies, stronger minds, and a stronger world — one step, one workout, and one act of kindness at a time.
