As many of you know, every spring, thousands of Canadians from coast to coast participate in the World Partnership Walk, Canada’s largest public movement dedicated to fighting global poverty. 

For my last two milestone birthdays, I decided that rather than spending money on a big party, I'd ask friends and family to donate to a cause very important to me, the work of Aga Khan Foundation Canada. For my 30th, with everyone's generosity, I raised over $30k, and for my 40th last year, I was able to raise over $40k. 

I am very aware that donor fatigue is real so I'm not planning to raise large sums in the intervening years between milestones but hope you might be able to contribute something small to my fundraising efforts this year for Aga Khan Foundation Canada's World Partnership Walk. 

Happy to talk to you about the work of the Foundation if you're curious, as I've been lucky enough to have seen some of it first-hand in East Africa about 10 years ago!
